About me
About me
I began my musical education with the saxophone at the age of 5 at the Vidreres School of Music in Catalonia, Spain. I continued my studies at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Music in Girona with David Salleras. Later, I pursued my degree at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu with Professor Albert Julià Torné.
In September 2021, I moved to Basel to study at the Musik Akademie Basel with Marcus Weiss. I also specialized in Contemporary Music, learning from figures such as Sarah Maria Sun and Yaron Deutsch. Since my move to Basel, I have dedicated myself to exploring new musical avenues, both as a soloist and in chamber groups.
Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in music pedagogy, driven by my passion for teaching. I enjoy inspiring both children and adults to engage with music, believing in its transformative power. I always aim to foster creativity and the development of my students' talents, thereby developing a deep appreciation for music.
My collaboration with composers such as Mikel Urkiza, Balz Trümpy, Thomas Kessler, Leonardo Idrobo, and Simon Steen-Andersen has enriched my repertoire and musical knowledge. I have also had the privilege of performing with conductors like Enrico Pomarico and at festivals such as Rümlingen, Festival Musica (Strasbourg), and Donaueschinger Musiktage.
I have been awarded several prizes and scholarships, including recognitions from the Diennemann Stiftung, Melinda Sterhazy de Galanta, Rita Zimmermann Stiftung, and the "Assegurances Agrupació Mútua" music prize in Barcelona.
